Call for Papers [ita]
Ultracorpi è una rivista digitale annuale, a carattere miscellaneo, interessata all’approfondimento di ambiti e generi legati al Fantastico nelle Arti dello Spettacolo:
Ambiti: cinema, circo, danza, digital performance, fotografia, giochi di ruolo, magia e illusionismo, parchi di divertimento, performing arts, radio, realtà virtuale, teatro, teatro di figura, televisione, videoarte, videogiochi.
Generi: cinecomics, distopia, fantascienza, fantastico, fantasy, fiaba, generi ibridi, horror, realismo magico, thriller psicologico.
Linee guida per i contributi
Le studiose e gli studiosi sono invitati a proporre contributi la cui lunghezza dovrà essere compresa tra le 5000 e le 8000 parole (inclusi abstract bilingue, note e riferimenti bibliografici, con un massimo di 50.000 caratteri totali, spazi inclusi, e cinque parole-chiave in inglese). Con l’invio si dà per scontato che il contribuito sia inedito e non sia proposto contemporaneamente ad altra pubblicazione. Per partecipare alla selezione l’autrice/l’autore dovrà inviare il contributo definitivo comprensivo di abstract (italiano e inglese di massimo 600 parole/4.000 caratteri spazi inclusi) e di una breve nota autobiografica scritta in terza persona (italiano e inglese massimo 100 parole/600 caratteri spazi inclusi). La rivista prevede la pubblicazione di saggi in lingua italiana, inglese, francese e spagnola.
Peer review
Ogni saggio sarà sottoposto a un processo di doppia peer review cieca; i due referee anonimi saranno scelti fra specialisti internazionali sulla base delle singole competenze. Presentando il proprio contributo, le autrici e gli autori acconsentiranno al processo di doppia peer review cieca. Nel caso di referaggi dagli esiti tra essi opposti, il testo sarà sottoposto a un terzo parere. L’esito del referaggio sarà in ogni caso comunicato alla contributrice/contributore tramite e-mail. I tempi della pubblicazione dipenderanno, oltre che dal lavoro di revisione, da esigenze redazionali. Il Comitato direttivo risponderà per mezzo della redazione entro massimo due mesi dalla ricezione del contributo.

I contributi per Ultracorpi n. 2 (2024) saranno accettati a partire dal 1° ottobre 2023 sino al 30 aprile 2024.

Numerazione della rivista
La rivista è annuale e segue la numerazione dell’anno solare (gennaio-dicembre), ogni numero è chiuso a dicembre.
Norme redazionali
Gli articoli devono essere salvati in formato Microsoft Word (docx).
Il testo va redatto in Garamond, corpo 14, interlinea 1,5 senza spaziature prima o dopo, giustificato, margini superiore 5 cm inferiore 5 e laterali 3,5 cm.
Nome dell’autrice/autore centrato, Garamond, corpo 12, retto.
Titolo dell’articolo, separato da un’interlinea dal nome dell’autore, centrato, Garamond, corpo 14, retto.
Il testo andrà separato dal titolo con tre interlinee e senza rientri per la prima riga.
I titoli dei paragrafi dovranno essere in corsivo contrassegnati da numeri arabi seguiti dal punto, separati con un’interlinea dal testo successivo:
1. Titolo del paragrafo
Le note vanno raccolte a piè di pagina in Garamond, corpo 12, giustificate e limitate alle informazioni aggiuntive o a commenti: tutti i riferimenti bibliografici dovranno seguire il formato (Cognome data: numero/i di pagina) e riportati completi nella bibliografia conclusiva.
I riferimenti di nota vanno prima dei segni d’interpunzione (eccetto punti interrogativi, esclamativi e due punti), e fuori dalle parentesi.
Le citazioni brevi (entro le quattro righe) saranno racchiuse tra virgolette alte doppie (“_”) e mantenute nel testo principale. Per le citazioni interne a una citazione, si dovranno usare le virgolette alte singole (‘_’).
Le citazioni estese (più di quattro righe) andranno separate dal testo con un’interlinea prima e dopo, in corpo 12, interlinea singola, rientrate a destra e a sinistra di 1 cm.
Per le citazioni bibliografiche deve essere usato il sistema “Autore-data”.
I riferimenti bibliografici interni al testo dovranno risultare come segue: Cognome (2022: 124-5), (Cognome 2022: 124-5), Cognome1 e Cognome2 (1995, 2005), (Cognome1 e Cognome2 1995, 2005), (Dyer 2017, Meldolesi 1987). Usare “et al.” quando si cita un’opera scritta da più di due autori: (Dyer et al. 2017). In caso di opere diverse dello stesso autore pubblicate nel medesimo anno si dovranno usare le lettere a, b, c: (Todorov 1977a, 1977b). La stessa regola varrà per i riferimenti a materiali d’archivio.
Per i titoli dei film citati nel corpo del testo si dovrà seguire il modello Titolo originale (Titolo italiano eventuale, data).
Il corsivo andrà usato per le parole in lingua straniera, per i titoli delle opere e delle riviste, per porre enfasi su un vocabolo.
Le illustrazioni da inserire nel testo andranno indicate tra parentesi quadre insieme alle rispettive didascalie: [Illustrazione 1: Litografia di Hugo Steiner-Prag, 1915, realizzata per il libro Der Golem di Gustav Meyrink].
La bibliografia dovrà essere elencata in ordine alfabetico per cognome alla fine del documento.
N.B.: nel caso in cui si riporti l’edizione italiana di un testo, si dovranno inserire tra parentesi quadre, accanto a quella dell’edizione citata, il titolo e la data di pubblicazione originale.
Tutti i link dovranno essere inseriti esclusivamente nelle note e nei riferimenti bibliografici, scritti per esteso e attivati.

Call for Papers [eng]
Ultracorpi is an annual online journal, that considers a variety of themes connected with areas and genres related to the Fantastic in the Performing Arts.
Interest areas: cinema, circus, dance, digital performance, photography, role-playing, magic and illusionism, amusement parks, performing arts, puppet theatre, radio, virtual reality, theatre, television, video art, and video games.
Genres: cinecomics, dystopia, science fiction, fantasy, fairy tale, hybrid genres, horror, magic realism, psychological thriller.
Guidelines for contributors
Scholars are invited to submit contributions between 5,000 and 8,000 words in length (maximum of 50.000 characters with spaces), including abstracts, notes and bibliographical references. Contributions should be original and unpublished, and not submitted to another publication. Contributors must send the final article including an abstract (in English, maximum 200 words) and a short biographical note. This must be written in the third person, in English, maximum 100 words. Articles can be published in Italian, English, French and Spanish.
Peer review
Each article will undergo a double-blind peer review process; the two anonymous reviewers will be chosen from international specialists on the basis of their expertise. By submitting their contribution, authors consent to the double-blind peer review process. In the case of differing opinions between the two reviewers, we will endeavour to seek a third opinion. The outcome of the peer review will be communicated to the contributor by e-mail. The timing of publication will depend on editorial requirements in addition to the revision required. The editorial board will respond within two months after receipt of the contributions.

Numbering of the journal
The journal is published yearly and follows the numbering of the calendar year (January-December), each issue will be closed in December.
Editorial Guidelines
Articles must be saved in Microsoft Word format (docx).
The text should be written in Garamond, body 14, line spacing 1.5 without spacing before or after, justified, margins top 5 cm bottom 5 and side 3.5 cm.
Author’s name centred, Garamond, body 12, straight.
Title of the article, separated by a line spacing from the author’s name, centred, Garamond, body 14, recto.
The text shall be separated from the title by three line spacing and no indentation for the first line.
Paragraph headings should be in italics marked by Arabic numerals followed by a full stop, separated by one line spacing from the following text:
1. Paragraph heading
Footnotes should be footnoted in Garamond, body size 12, justified and limited to additional information or comments: all bibliographical references should follow the format (Last name date: page number(s)) and should be given in full in the concluding bibliography.
Footnote references go before punctuation marks (except question marks, exclamation marks and colon), and outside parentheses.
Short quotations (within four lines) will be enclosed in double inverted commas (“_”) and retained in the main text. For quotations within a quotation, single high inverted commas (‘_’) should be used.
Extended quotations (more than four lines) shall be separated from the text by single spacing before and after, in body 12, single spacing, indented left and right by 1 cm.
The ‘Author-data’ system must be used for bibliographic citations.
In-text bibliographical references should appear as follows: Surname (2022: 124-5), (Surname 2022: 124-5), Surname1 and Surname2 (1995, 2005), (Surname1 and Surname2 1995, 2005), (Dyer 2017, Meldolesi 1987). Use ‘et al.’ when citing a work written by more than two authors: (Dyer et al. 2017). In the case of different works by the same author published in the same year, the letters a, b, c should be used: (Todorov 1977a, 1977b). The same rule will apply to references to archival materials.
For film titles cited in the body of the text, the model Original title should be followed.
Italics should be used for titles of books and journals, and to emphasise a word.
Illustrations to be included in the text should be indicated in square brackets together with their respective captions: [Illustration 1: Lithograph by Hugo Steiner-Prag, 1915, made for the book Der Golem by Gustav Meyrink].
The bibliography should be listed alphabetically by surname at the end of the document.
All links must be inserted exclusively in the notes and bibliographical references, written in full and activated.
