Ultracorpi is an annual digital journal, that considers a variety of themes covering in depth the areas and genres related to the Fantastic in the Performing Arts.
Our aim is to capture how over time the Fantastic has manifested in the different contexts of theatre, cinema and media.
Ultracorpi is interested in receiving contributions dedicated to cinema, circus, dance, digital performance, photography, role-playing games, magic and illusionism, amusement parks, performing arts, puppet theatre, radio, virtual reality, theatre, television, video art and video games.
As far as genres are concerned, articles can relate to cinecomics, dystopia, science fiction, fantasy, fairy tales, hybrid genres, horror, magic realism and psychological thrillers. Given the variety of themes the Call for Papers has an extended deadline.
The journal offers all its content in open access.
