La gestione e pubblicazione della rivista avviene con il seguente e-publishing Open Journal Systems (OJS) sviluppato dal Public Knowledge Projec (https://pkp.sfu.ca/ojs/).
Le presenti informazioni non riguardano altri siti, pagine o servizi online raggiungibili tramite link ipertestuali eventualmente pubblicati nel sito ma riferiti a risorse esterne al dominio dell’Università.

FINALITÀ E BASE GIURIDICA DEL TRATTAMENTO
I dati personali degli utenti del sito sono trattati al fine di gestire, controllare e garantire l’accesso al sito, la navigazione e la fruizione dei servizi online resi disponibili dall’Università attraverso il medesimo sito (ad esempio: consultazione anonima dei contributi, registrazione al servizio di newsletter, registrazione degli utenti Lettore, Autore, Revisore).
I dati potranno essere trattati anche per ottenere informazioni statistiche utili per migliorare il funzionamento del sito e l’esperienza di navigazione degli utenti, anche attraverso l’impiego di cookie analitici. La base giuridica del trattamento è costituita dall’esecuzione dei compiti di interesse pubblico dell’Università o comunque connessi all’esercizio di pubblici poteri (consultazione anonima dei contributi) e dall’esecuzione di misure precontrattuali o contrattuali (fruizione dei servizi).
Il conferimento dei dati per le finalità sopra indicate non è obbligatorio, ma l’eventuale rifiuto comporterà l’oggettiva impossibilità di usufruire di determinate funzionalità o servizi resi disponibili sul sito web.
La base giuridica del trattamento finalizzato alla comunicazione di annunci di carattere generale o avvisi sulla pubblicazione di nuovi articoli, tramite newsletter, è costituita dal consenso esplicito degli interessati: tale consenso è facoltativo, ma indispensabile per procedere con l’invio delle comunicazioni. Il consenso prestato può essere revocato in qualsiasi momento seguendo le istruzioni per la cancellazione dell’iscrizione riportate online e in ogni comunicazione.

Dati di navigazione
I sistemi informatici e le procedure software preposte al funzionamento del sito acquisiscono, nel corso del loro normale esercizio, alcuni dati personali la cui trasmissione è implicita nell’uso dei protocolli di comunicazione di Internet (quali, ad esempio: indirizzi IP o i nomi a dominio dei computer e dei terminali utilizzati dagli utenti; indirizzi in notazione URI/URL – Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator – delle risorse richieste; orario della richiesta; metodo utilizzato nel sottoporre la richiesta al server; dimensione del file ottenuto in risposta; codice numerico indicante lo stato della risposta data dal server – buon fine, errore, ecc. – ed altri parametri relativi al sistema operativo e all’ambiente informatico dell’utente).

Dati comunicati dall’utente
Sono inoltre oggetto di trattamento i dati personali forniti dagli utenti del sito, per finalità connesse alla fruizione dei servizi online, come sopra indicate:
- dati anagrafici e di contatto (nome, cognome, sesso, numero di telefono, fax, indirizzo di posta elettronica, indirizzo postale)
- ORCID, note biografiche, istituzione di afferenza, conoscenze linguistiche, aree di interesse (peer review).
DESTINATARI DEI DATI
I dati trattati per le finalità di cui sopra saranno accessibili ai dipendenti e collaboratori assegnati ai competenti uffici dell’Università, ovvero a persone fisiche o giuridiche che prestano attività di servizio verso l’Università ai fini dell’erogazione di servizi strumentali al perseguimento delle suddette finalità (ad esempio: fornitori del servizio di cloud computing).
I dati personali potrebbero essere comunicati anche ad altre amministrazioni pubbliche, qualora queste debbano trattare i medesimi per eventuali procedimenti di propria competenza istituzionale.
TRASFERIMENTO DATI ALL’ESTERO
È previsto il trasferimento all’estero dei dati sul server del fornitore del servizio di cloud computing, residente all’interno dell’Unione Europea e certificato AgID.
CONSERVAZIONE DEI DATI
I dati forniti o raccolti verranno conservati per un arco di tempo non superiore al conseguimento delle finalità per le quali sono trattati (“principio di limitazione della conservazione”: art.5 del Regolamento) o per i tempi di conservazione previsti da norme di legge o regolamenti.
DIRITTI DEGLI INTERESSATI
Gli interessati hanno il diritto di ottenere dall’Università, nei casi previsti, l’accesso ai dati personali e la rettifica o la cancellazione degli stessi o la limitazione del trattamento che li riguarda o di opporsi al trattamento (art. 15 e seguenti del Regolamento).
In particolare, ai sensi dell’art. 7 del Regolamento, gli interessati possono esercitare in qualsiasi momento il proprio diritto di revoca del consenso (anche con le modalità sopra indicate), senza che venga pregiudicata la liceità del trattamento basata sul consenso prestato antecedentemente.

DIRITTO DI RECLAMO
Gli interessati che ritengono che il trattamento dei dati personali a loro riferiti effettuato attraverso questo sito avvenga in violazione di quanto previsto dal Regolamento hanno il diritto di proporre reclamo al Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali (art. 77 del Regolamento) o di adire le opportune sedi giudiziarie (art. 79 del Regolamento).

PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING
The personal data of the website users are processed by the University in order to manage, check and enable the access to the website, the use of the website and online services made available by the University through the same website (e.g. anonymous consultation of the contributions, newsletter subscription, user registration as Reader, Author or Editor).
Personal data may be processed also in order to obtain statistical information useful for improving the functioning of the website and the user experience, also through the use of analytical cookies. The legal basis for the processing is the performance of the duties of public interest of the University, or duties related to the exercise of its public powers (anonymous consultation of contributions) and the fulfilment of contractual or pre-contractual obligations (use of the service).
Providing personal data for the above reasons is not mandatory. However, refusal to provide us with your data will result in you being unable to use certain functions or services of the website.
The legal basis of the processing for the communication of general announcements or notices on the publication of new articles via newsletters is the explicit consent of the concerned user: such consent is optional but essential to enable such communications. Your consent can be revoked anytime by following the instructions for subscription cancellation available online and in each newsletter.
CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA
Browsing data
The information systems and software procedures adopted to operate this website acquire personal data as part of their standard functioning; the transmission of such data is an inherent feature of Internet communication protocols. This data category includes the IP addresses and/or the domain names of the computers and terminal equipment used by any user, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of such requests, the method used for submitting a given request to the server, returned file size, a numerical code relating to server response status (successfully performed, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

Data communicated by users
The following personal data communicated by the users of the website for purposes related to the use of online services as outlined above are also processed:
- personal data and contacts (name, surname, sex, phone number, fax, e-mail address, postal address);
- ORCID, biographical notes, institution of affiliation, language skills, areas of interest (peer review).
DATA RECIPIENTS
Data processed for the above-mentioned purposes will be available to the employees and collaborators assigned to the competent offices of the University, and the natural or legal persons who provide services to the University for the above purposes (e.g. cloud computing service providers).
Personal data may also be disclosed to other public administrations, if they have to process them for any procedures within their institutional jurisdiction.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER
Data will be transferred abroad on the server of the cloud computing service provider based in the European Union and certified AgID.
DATA RETENTION
The collected data will be kept for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed (“storage limitation principle”, pursuant to Art. 5 of Regulation), or in accordance with the deadlines set by law or regulations.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS
Data Subjects have the right to obtain from the University, where appropriate, access to their personal data as well as rectification or erasure of such data or the restriction of the processing concerning them, and to object to the processing (pursuant to Articles 15 and following of the Regulation).
Specifically, pursuant to Art. 7 of the Regulation, the Data Subjects concerned may at any time exercise their right to revoke their consent (also by the above methods), without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given previously.

RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT
If a Data Subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her as performed here infringes the Regulation, he or she has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority – “Garante per la protezione dei dati personali” (Art. 77 of the Regulation), or else to bring a judicial proceeding against the University pursuant to Article 79 of the Regulation.
